Tempered glass is made by heating flat glass to just below its softening temperature (about 700 oc) and suddenly chilling it with jets of cold air. It results the outer skins under powerful compressive stress and the interior with severe tensile stress. In consequence, the i***ct applied to the glass will be overcome by the compressional force on the surface to assure safety of use.
With the imported horizontal tempered glass production lines from Finland, UK and Germany, we can produce all kinds of flat tempered glass of different thickness and specifications.
Properties:
1. The mechanical strength redoubled: 4-5 times strength than ordinary annealed glass.
2. Breakage hurts reduced: when breakage occurs, the tempered glass disintegrates into countless even small obtuse fragments, which reduces its hurts to human body.
3. It can withstand a very wide range of rapid temperature changing with the endurance of 200-300 oc.
